Roasted poha Chivda namkeen

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cup flattened rice(poha).
  • 2-3 tbsp oil.
  • 1 cup raw peanuts.
  • 2-3 tbsp cashew nuts.
  • 2-3 tbsp almonds.
  • 2-3 tbsp roasted chana dal.
  • 2-3 tbsp dried coconut.
  • 2-3 slit green chilli.
  • 15-20 curry leaves.
  • 2-3 tbsp raisins.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar.
  • 1 tsp dry mango powder.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. In a wok dry roast the flattened rice for 5-7 mins or until it turns crispy.
  2. In a wok heat oil and add raw peanuts and saute 2-3 mins.
  3. Add cashew nuts, almonds, dried coconut, roasted gram dal and saute for 4-5 mins.
  4. Add green chilli, curry leaves and let it splutter.
  5. Add raisins and saute well.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt as per taste, dry mango powder and powdered sugar and mix well.
  7. Add poha and mix gently.
