Paneer Do Pyaza Recipe
Paneer do pyaza is a delicious sabji. This sabji tastes super good and can be served with parathas, rotis and naans. Try out this delicious paneer ki sabji.
INGREDIENTS
- 2+4 tbsp oil.
- 1 cup diced onion.
- 300 gms cottage cheese (paneer).
- 1 tsp cumin seeds.
- 2 dry red chilli.
- 2 cardamom.
- 1 inch cinnamon.
- 1 bay leaf.
- 8 peppercorns.
- 2 finely chopped onion.
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
- 2 tomato puree.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1 tsp red chilli powder.
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder.
- 1 tsp coriander powder.
- Salt as per taste.
- 1/4 cup whisk curd.
- 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves.
- 1/2 tsp garam masala.
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves.
INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE
- In a pan heat oil and add diced onions and cook for few minutes till it turns white.
- When turns white take it out.
- In the same pan add cottage cheese (paneer) and cook till it turns brown.
- Take it out when turns brown.
- In a wok heat oil and add cumin seeds, dry red chilli, cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns, bay leaf and saute for few seconds.
- Add chopped onion and saute till it turns brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and mix well and cook few mins.
- Add tomato puree and mix well and cover and cook for 5-7 mins.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well.
- Add little water and cover and cook for 5 mins.
- After 5 mins oil starts releasing and whisk curd and mix well.
- Add dry fenugreek leaves, garam masala and mix well.
- Add 1/4 cup water and bring it to boil.
- Add fried cottage cheese (paneer) and fried onions and mix well and cook for a min.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well.
