Kadai Paneer Recipe

In this Way you can learn to make restaurant style kadai paneer at home home in a very easy manner:-


For kadai masala :-
1 tbsp coriander seeds.
1 tsp cumin seeds.
1 tsp fennel seeds(optional).
1/2 tsp black peppercorns.
3 dried red chili.

For Gravy:-
4 tbsp oil.
5-7 garlic.
1 inch ginger.
2 green chili.
2 medium onion.
1 large tomato.
7-8 cashews.
1 tbsp butter.
1 bay leaf.
1 diced onion.
1 diced capsicum.
1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
1 tsp red chili powder.
250 gms cottage cheese/paneer.
2 tbsp cream.
1 tbsp coriander leaves.
1 tsp fenugreek leaves.
1/2 tsp garam masala.


1.In a pan dry roast coriander seeds,cumin seeds,fennel seeds(optional),black peppercorns,dried red chilli on low flame for 2 mins and cool completely and grind into fine powder.2.In a pan heat oil add garlic,ginger,green chilli and saute it for a min.3.Add onion and saute till it turns golden,add cashew and mix well.4.Add tomato and mix well till tomatoes soften.5.Cool completely and grind into paste.6.In the same pan heat butter and add bay leaf and diced onion and capsicum and saute for 2 mins.7.Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder and mix well.
8.Add prepared paste and salt and mix well.
9.Add prepared masala and saute for 2-3 mins.
10.Add water and mix well.
11.Add cottage cheese/paneer and mix well.
12.Add garam masala,cream and mix well and cover and cook for 3-5 mins on medium flame.
13.Add coriander leaves,fenugreek leaves and mix well.
14.Serve hot and enjoy.
