Corn Pulao Recipe
Corn pulao is a super quick rice recipe. It’s tastes delicious. Capsicum makes it even more flavorful. Rich and delicious corn pulao recipe at home.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup basmati rice.
- 3/4 cup frozen corn.
- 1/4 cup capsicum.
- 2 tbsp clarified butter.
- 5-6 cloves.
- 6-7 peppercorns.
- 1 bay leaf.
- 2 black cardamom.
- 1 star anise.
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
- 1 inch cinnamon.
- 1 onion.
- 2 green chilli.
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste.
- Salt as per taste.
- 1/2 tsp garam masala.
- 1 cup milk.
- 1 cup water.
INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE
- In a bowl add basmati rice and wash it well.
- Drain the water and add fresh water and soak for 30 mins.
- In a pressure cooker heat clarified butter.
- Add cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon, bay leaf, black cardamom, star anise and cumin seeds.
- Saute it for few seconds and add onion and saute for 2-3 mins.
- Add green chilli, ginger-garlic paste and saute few mins.
- Add capsicum and frozen corn and saute few mins.
- Add salt, garam masala and saute few mins.
- Add soaked rice and mix well.
- Add milk and water and mix well.
- Cook for 2 whistle.
- Once pressure cooker cools down open it and stir gently.
- Serve hot.
