Chilli Paneer Recipe

Chilli paneer is another paneer recipe made out of variety of sauces. Delicious in taste and easy to make.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 capsicum cut into squares.
  • 2 onion cut into squares.
  • 3 tbsp corn flour.
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder.
  • Salt.
  • 200 gms paneer cubes.
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic.
  • 2 tbsp chopped Ginger.
  • 4 slit green chilli.
  • 1 tbsp red chilli sauce.
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce.
  • 1 tbsp schezwan sauce.
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce.
  • 2 tsp vinegar.
  • 1/2 tsp sugar.
  • Oil.
  • 1/4 cup spring onion whites.
  • 1/4 cup spring onion greens.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. In a bowl add corn flour, all purpose flour, salt, black pepper powder, water and make a slurry.
  2. Dip the paneer cubes in the slurry and deep fry the paneer until it turns brown and crispy.
  3. In a pan heat oil and add chopped ginger and garlic and saute it for few seconds.
  4. Add capsicum and saute for a min.
  5. Add onion and spring onion whites and saute everything for 3-4 mins.
  6. Add red chilli sauce, tomato sauce, schezwan sauce, soya sauce, green chilli and mix well.
  7. Add salt, sugar, black pepper powder and mix well.
  8. Take 2 tsp cornflour and mix it with 2-3 tbsp water and make a slurry.
  9. Add the slurry in the gravy and mix well.
  10. Add around 1/3 cup water, vinegar and mix well.
  11. Add fried paneer cubes and spring onion greens and mix well and serve hot.
