Aloo shimla mirch recipe

Aloo Shimla mirch ki Sabji a quick curry recipe. It tastes delicious with rotis and parathas. Delicious Shimla mirch aloo ki Sabji.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tbsp oil.
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida.
  • 2 chopped onion.
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste.
  • 4 chopped potato.
  • 2 chopped tomato.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp coriander powder.
  • Salt.
  • 2 chopped capsicum.
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala.
  • 2-3 chopped green chilli.
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds and asafoetida and saute few seconds.
  2. Add chopped onion and saute it slightly.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
  4. Add chopped potato and mix well.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well.
  6. Add 2 chopped tomato and mix well.
  7. Let it cook for 5-7 mins.
  8. After 5-7 mins add little water and mix well.
  9. Add chopped capsicum and mix well.
  10. Cook it till potato and capsicum softens.
  11. After capsicum and potato softens add garam masala, green chilli and coriander leaves and mix well.
