Aloo Matar recipe In Cooker

Aloo matar ki sabji in pressure cooker. It’s delicious as well as healthy. Quicker way to make aloo matar curry in pressure cooker.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 medium chopped potato.
  • 2 medium chopped onion.
  • 2 medium chopped tomato.
  • 4 tbsp oil.
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
  • 3 slit Green chilli.
  • 1 cup carrot.
  • 1 cup green peas.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  • 3 tsp coriander powder.
  • 1 tsp cumin powder.
  • Salt.
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala.
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. In a pressure cooker heat oil and add cumin seeds.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook till it turns brown.
  3. Add Ginger-garlic paste, green chilli and mix well.
  4. Once onion browns add chopped potatoes and cook for 2-3 mins.
  5. Add carrots and mix well.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and mix well.
  7. Add chopped tomatoes and saute for 2 mins.
  8. Add green peas and mix well.
  9. Add 1 cup of water and mix well.
  10. Cook for 2 whistle on high flame.
  11. After pressure releases remove the lid and mash few potatoes to adjust consistency.
  12. Add garam masala and coriander leaves and mix well.
