Mix sauce pasta

Mix sauce pasta is a combination of red sauce and white sauce. It’s cheesy and creamy and tastes super delicious. Tangy flavour of tomato and creamy flavour of white sauce makes perfect combination. Herbs enhances it’s taste more and add flavours in it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup penne pasta.
  • 4 large tomato.
  • 2 tbsp butter.
  • 1 tsp oil.
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic.
  • 1 chopped onion.
  • 1/4 chopped capsicum.
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce.
  • 3/4 cup white sauce.
  • 1 tsp oregano.
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes.
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder.
  • 1 cheese slice.
  • 1 cheese cube.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. In a pan boil water and add salt, oil and penne pasta.
  2. Cook till pasta softens or cook as per pack instructions.
  3. Once cooked drain water and pour cold water.
  4. Take 4 tomato and remove it’s top and cut X at bottom.
  5. Boil the tomato till it starts separating skin.
  6. Take out and remove it’s skin and chop it roughly.
  7. Blend into smooth puree.
  8. In a wok heat butter and add chopped garlic and saute few mins.
  9. Add chopped onion and saute 2-3 mins.
  10. Add chopped capsicum and saute for few mins.
  11. Add tomato puree and cook for 4-5 mins.
  12. Add tomato sauce and mix well.
  13. Add white sauce and mix well.
  14. Add little water and mix well.
  15. Add salt, black pepper powder, oregano, red chilli flakes, mixed herbs and mix well.
  16. Add cheese slice and cheese cube and mix well.
  17. Add boiled pasta and mix well.
  18. Adjust consistency by adding water and cook for 2 mins.
  19. Serve hot.
