Masala idli fry
Masala idli fry a all time great snacks recipe. It can be made out of leftover idlis and can give your idli a another taste. Quick and delicious masala idle fry.
INGREDIENTS
- 5-6 Idli.
- 6 tbsp oil.
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida.
- 8-10 curry leaves.
- 1 chopped onion.
- 2 green chilli.
- 1 chopped tomato.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1 tsp red chilli powder.
- Salt.
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala.
- Juice of half lemon.
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves.
INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE
- In a pan heat oil and fry the Idli till it turns brown.
- In the same pan heat oil add mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and saute for a min.
- Add chopped onion and saute till it turns brown.
- Add green chilli and tomatoes and cook till tomatoes turns mushy.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, Garam masala, lemon juice and mix well.
- Add 2 tbsp water and mix well.
- Add coriander leaves and fried idli and mix well.
- Cover and cook for 2 mins on low flame and serve hot.
