Indian Style Macaroni Pasta

Indian style macaroni pasta tastes delicious as it have all the Indian spices in it. It’s tangy, it’s spicy and it also have the sweetness of tomato and tomato sauce. It’s tangy and flavourful. Easy and tasty pasta recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 cup macaroni pasta.
  • 3 tbsp oil + 1 tsp oil.
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  • 1 tbsp grated garlic.
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger.
  • 2 green chilli.
  • 1 finely chopped onion.
  • 2 finely chopped tomato.
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrot.
  • 1/4 cup chopped capsicum.
  • 1/4 boiled sweet corn.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp coriander powder.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder.
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala.
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala.
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs.
  • 1 cube cheese.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce.
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. In a wok boil water and add salt and oil.
  2. Add macaroni pasta and mix well.
  3. Let it cook till it softens or cook as per pack instructions.
  4. Once cooked drain water and pour cold water.
  5. In a wok heat oil and add cumin seeds.
  6. Add grated ginger and grated garlic and saute it slightly.
  7. Add chopped onion and green chilli and saute till it turns slight brown.
  8. Add tomato and salt and cook till it turns mushy.
  9. Add carrot, capsicum, sweet corn and mix well and cook 2-3 mins.
  10. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, black pepper and, chat masala and mix well.
  11. Add tomato sauce and mix well.
  12. Add mixed herbs and cheese cube and mix well.
  13. Add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and mix well.
  14. Add boiled pasta and cook for 2-3 mins.
