Egg Curry Recipe

Super delicious egg curry recipe. This non-veg recipe is mouth watering. This spicy and tasty egg curry recipe can be served with rice as well as rotis. Do give this recipe a try.

INGREDIENTS

For frying egg:-

  • 6 boiled eggs.
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil.
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
  • Little salt.

For gravy:-

  • 4-5 tbsp mustard oil.
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  • 3 finely chopped onion.
  • 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
  • 2 green chilli.
  • 3 tomato puree.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp coriander powder.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 1 cup hot water.
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala.
  • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves.

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. Take boiled eggs and prick the eggs using toothpick.
  2. In a pan heat mustard oil and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well.
  3. Fry the eggs for 1-2 mins.
  4. Take the fried eggs out in a bowl.
  5. In a wok heat mustard oil and add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  6. Add chopped onion and saute till onion turns brown.
  7. Once onion turns brown add green chilli and mix well.
  8. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  9. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander, salt and mix well.
  10. Add tomato puree and mix well.
  11. Cook till oil releases from sides and masala turns brown.
  12. Add hot water and mix well.
  13. Once gravy boils add garam masala and coriander leaves.
  14. Add eggs and mix well.
  15. Cook for 4-5 mins and serve hot.
