Aloo Toast Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 boiled and mashed potatoes.
  • 2 tbsp oil.
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  • 1 tsp grated ginger.
  • 1 tsp grated garlic.
  • 2 chopped green chilli.
  • 1 chopped onion.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder.
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • Juice of half lemon.
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves.
  • White bread slices.
  • Green chutney.
  • Butter.

Final garnishing :-

  • Tomato sauce.
  • Tamarind sauce.
  • Chopped onion.
  • Chopped tomato.
  • Coriander leaves.
  • Sev

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE

  1. In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds, grated ginger, grated garlic and green chilli and saute few seconds.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauce till it turns brown.
  3. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and garam masala and mix well.
  4. Add boiled and mashed potatoes and mix well.
  5. Add salt and mix well.
  6. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well.
  7. Tranfer the mixture in a bowl.
  8. Take a bread slice and apply butter on one side.
  9. And apply green chutney on other side.
  10. Spread aloo mixture on green chutney side and toast it from butter side.
  11. After toasting apply tomato sauce, tamarind sauce, chopped onion, chopped tomato, coriander leaves and sev.
  12. Cut into desired shape and serve.
